Age-defying toothpaste

Smiling senior ladyWe all know how ageing can affect our skin, but time takes its toll on teeth and gums too, with receding gums, stains and weakening enamel among the most common complaints.

According to census figures, more than 25% of the global population is over the age of 50. And by 2030, that age group will represent more than 40% of people.

New Signal Anti-Age toothpaste was developed meet the specific needs of this growing group of middle-aged consumers.

Preventing ageing issues

The toothpaste’s unique formula helps to fight five signs of ageing: gum recession, enamel erosion, loss of whiteness, gum irritation and tooth sensitivity, thanks to a mix of carefully selected ingredients. Signal Anti-Age contains zinc citrate and vitamin E, known for its antioxidant properties, which both help prevent damage to gums, calcium serum technology to protect enamel against mineral loss and a cleaning system to help fight stain formation.

“Across other personal care categories, this target consumer group has been clearly recognised and appropriate anti-ageing products have been launched. We realised that anti-ageing toothpaste was a real, yet unmet need – providing us with a clear gap in the marketplace,” says Luca Mazzier, Assistant Brand Development Manager, Unilever Oral Care.

Signal Anti-Age is available in Bosnia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia and Sweden.
