Tonia Lovell
Tonia Lovell has a degree in law from Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge and was admitted as a solicitor and a member of the Law Society in November 1993.

Following university and a year at Guildford Law School, Tonia completed her solicitor's training contract at Linklaters law firm in the City of London, and worked in the firm's corporate finance/financial services team for a further four years.
In 1997, Tonia joined the Legal department of Unilever, based in the company's Global Corporate Centre in Blackfriars, London, working on UK and corporate matters for the next six years. These included the acquisition of Bestfoods and the subsequent sale of a portfolio of businesses to Campbell's, as well as a number competition law-related issues to do with ice cream.
In 2003, Tonia was appointed General Counsel for Unilever's UK business. In 2007, this role expanded to General Counsel for Unilever's businesses in both the UK and Ireland, and Tonia became a member of the company's UK/Ireland Leadership Team. Tonia remained in this role until February 2010, before taking on her current position.
Tonia is married with two children. Her interests include swimming, camping and travel.
